Dr. Panou
Evelina Panou is a Consultant Pediatrician specialised in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. Dr. Panou graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She was trained in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University Children’s Hospital in Marburg and in Bonn, Germany and then further specialised in Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetology. Evelina Panou has worked as a Consultant Pediatrician at the University Children’s Hospital in Bonn. She participated in the management and education of children with Diabetes mellitus and their parents as well as in the educational and research activities of the Medical University of Bonn. Her scientific work includes her participation in presentations and lectures in German, Greek and European congresses as well as conducting scientific publications.
In 2018, she returned to Greece and currently is Scientific Collaborator at the Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes Division of the first Department of Pediatrics in the University of Athens Children’s Hospital. Moreover she is Scientific Collaborator at the private Children’s Hospital Iaso. Since May 2019 she is also Scientific Director of the Pediatric Department in Mediterraneo First Care Day Clinic.
